Paladin is one of the most reworked classes in WoW Forever. All three trees have new talents, Holy Strike is now a core button for every spec, and several old blessing and aura talents are gone. This page sums up what the trees look like in the current beta and which builds the testing community is settling on.

The big tree changes at a glance
According to ForeverDiff's read of the game client (build 1.60.1.70532, 22 Oct), the paladin trees have 19 new talents, 27 changed ones and 12 removed ones compared with Classic Era.
New talents worth knowing
- Holy:Holy Shock is now a Holy talent you can train at level 30. Also new are Light's Vigil (a party heal or damage burst through Holy Shock), Reverence (10% of Mana regen keeps going while you cast), Infusion of Light, Divine Precision (+6% hit with Holy spells), Purifying Power, Consecrated Ground and Voice of Truth (6 s immunity to silence and interrupts).
- Protection:Templar's Bulwark (an absorb shield worth 100% of your max health for 8 s, and it applies Forbearance), Sacred Duty, Iron Creed, Swift Judgement and Improved Seal of Fury.
- Retribution:Sacred Arbiter (Holy Strike deals 20% more damage and refreshes your Judgements), Twist of Light (seal-twisting via an "Echo" of the replaced seal, plus 20% cheaper Seals), Champion of the Light (spell damage equal to a share of your Intellect), Holy Conduit, Instrument of Law and Sanctified Judgement.
Removed:Blessing of Kings and Blessing of Sanctuary are no longer talents. Consecration is no longer a talent either; it is trained. Sanctity Aura, Lasting Judgement, Improved Lay on Hands, Improved Seal of the Crusader and the Improved Blessing/Aura talents are also gone.
Blizzard's 26 Oct notes changed paladins in these ways:
- Holy Strike now scales more per rank (25% to 50% of weapon damage across 8 ranks). Its 10 s cooldown is baseline, and Improved Holy Strike was removed from the Holy tree.
- Holy Power now adds 15% crit chance to Holy Strike.
- Vengeance now triggers from any non-periodic crit and stacks to 3 (was 5).
- Two-Handed Weapon Specialization was cut to 2/4/6%.
- Sacred Arbiter went up to 20%. Twist of Light now also makes Seals 20% cheaper.
- Righteous Fury's Holy threat bonus was cut to 60% (was 90%). Retribution Aura now scales with your spell power.
Talent positions are still moving every week. wow-forever.gg reports that the 22 Oct build broke 186 of 212 published paladin builds. So we list the key picks rather than exact point maps.
