WoW Forever paladin leveling build

Retribution is the standard way to level a paladin in WoW Forever. In the level 30 beta it plays as a slow two-hander that hits hard between short breaks to drink. There is still no interrupt and no gap closer, and Wowhead calls it one of the slower classes to level right now. Mana sustain is much better than in the level 20 beta, though.
Leveling talents
Levels 10–20: Wowhead's level 20 guide gives two routes. - Seal Twist (Retribution): a slow two-hander that stacks attack power and spell power, heading towards Twist of Light. It does better burst in PvP.
- Shockadin (Holy): stacks Intellect and spell power, heading towards Holy Shock and Champion of the Light. Wowhead rated it stronger in PvE at level 20.
Levels 20–30: put every point into Retribution (0/0/21). Take Benediction and Sanctified Judgement for Mana, Conviction to set up Vengeance, Seal of Command if your weapon is slow (3.0 speed or slower), Pursuit of Justice for move speed, then Sacred Arbiter and Vengeance. If you use a fast weapon such as Manual Crowd Pummeler, swap Seal of Command for Holy Conduit.
Levels 30–60: Not yet published, updated at launch.
Rotation while questing

| 1 | Keep your main Seal up: Seal of Command on slow two-handers, Seal of Righteousness on anything else. |
| 2 | Use Judgement on cooldown. It no longer uses up your Seal. On long fights, Judge Seal of the Crusader first. |
| 3 | Use Holy Strike on cooldown. Its 10 s cooldown is baseline, and it got a damage boost on 26 Oct. |
| 4 | Use Exorcism on Undead and Demons. |
| 5 | Save Consecration for 3–4+ enemies, because it costs a lot of Mana. |
Leveling tips
- Weapon DPS is your biggest upgrade, since auto attacks, Holy Strike and Seal of Command all scale with it.
- Spell power gear works well on Ret. Seals, Judgement, Holy Strike and Consecration all scale with it.
- You wear Mail until Plate at 40.
- Do your dungeon quests. They still give extra XP, though the 1 Oct build cut that bonus by 50%.
- Stack XP buffs: Well Fed XP food, a nap in the Cozy Sleeping Bag, and the Legacy perk Well Rested.
- Class quests: Alliance can do The Test of Righteousness (Verigan's Fist) and Horde can do Old Fire-Eye (Wolfsbane) at 20. Alliance also gets Return to Delgren at 22 (Cloak of the Divine Storm).
