WoW Forever Holy paladin guide
Tooltips: Wowhead Forever DB, exact matches only (build 70532, 28 Oct).
In WoW Forever, Holy is a single-target healer. Light's Vigil gives it group healing and Reverence and Illumination keep its Mana going. Holy Shock now comes from the Holy tree at level 30, and Light's Vigil follows at 40 according to Wowhead.
Talents (level 30 beta)
Take Improved Seals (for questing damage), Reverence, Illumination and Holy Shock. With Talented, add Infusion of Light and Divine Precision, then Holy Power.
26 Oct changes: Improved Holy Strike is gone because its 10 s cooldown is now baseline. Holy Power now also adds 15% crit chance to Holy Strike. Light's Vigil's tooltip was reworded to make clear that only the damage version refunds Mana.
Healing toolkit
- Flash of Light: fast, cheap and weaker.
- Holy Light: slow, expensive and big.
- Holy Shock: instant. A Wowhead commenter questions its heal-per-Mana, so we treat it as a movement and emergency heal.
- Seal of Light + Judgement: puts Judgement of Light on an enemy.
- Light's Vigil (40): your next Holy Shock on that target has no cooldown. On an ally it heals the whole party; on an enemy it deals damage and refunds 75% of the Mana.
Tips
- Intellect does not raise your healing. It only adds Mana and spell crit, so look for gear with healing power on it.
- Keep Devotion or Retribution Aura up, plus Might or Wisdom blessings.
- Camp buffs don't stack with matching blessings: Lodestone with Might, and Fish Bowl with Kings.
