WoW Forever Skyborne classes: every class by faction
28 Oct 2026 (AEDT), from the beta notes incl. the 26 Oct (US) final racial pass. Launch: Thu 5 Nov 10:00 AEDT. Unconfirmed = our read; may change at launch.
Skyborne is WoW Forever's new race. You pick the faction at character creation: High Order joins the Alliance, Windshaper joins the Horde. Faction decides one class.
Class list
Class badges: Forever Guides HTML/CSS. HO = High Order (Alliance), WS = Windshaper (Horde).
Not available: Paladin, Priest, Warlock. Blizzard's Skyborne article lists five classes per faction and doesn't name them. Unconfirmed: more combos may follow; Blizzard says more class-race combinations are "planned for future updates" (Deep Dive), without naming Skyborne.
Which Skyborne class to pick
Unconfirmed: our read of the racials (26 Oct dev notes).
High Order Mage or Druid
Read Leyline: +50% health and mana regen for 15 sec; at a Ley Line it grants Attuned (1 hr). It suits casters that drink often while levelling.
Windshaper Rogue, Warrior, Hunter, Shaman
Skysight: +15% speed for 15 sec; at an elemental convergence it grants Charged (1 hr). That helps when travelling and in battlegrounds.
Every class
Wind-Blessed +2% haste and Walk on Air (10 sec glide). Attuned and Charged drop in raids, so Skyborne is weaker in raids than when levelling.
Access needs the Skyborne Heroic Pack or higher. See the Skyborne race guide, all class-race combos and Skyborne Druid.
