WoW Forever Healing Potions: First Aid Recipes, Herbs & Manuals
Beta caveat: built from beta data. [Classic-based] = Classic Era data Forever may change; [Unconfirmed] = to recheck at launch.
Healing Potions are a First Aid craft now
In Forever every character can brew their own healing potions through First Aid. Recipes add spices on top of the classic herb, and each craft makes two potions.
| Potion | Skill | Learn | Reagents | Heals | Use level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minor Healing Potion | 1 | Trainer | Empty Vial, Mild Spices, Peacebloom | 70–90 | — |
| Lesser Healing Potion | 55 | Trainer | Empty Vial, 2 Mild Spices, Briarthorn | 140–180 | 3 |
| Healing Potion | 110 | Trainer | Leaded Vial, Hot Spices, Bruiseweed | 280–360 | 12 |
| Greater Healing Potion | 155 | Manual | Leaded Vial, 3 Hot Spices, Liferoot | 455–585 | 21 |
| Superior Healing Potion | 215 | Manual | Crystal Vial, Soothing Spices, Sungrass | 700–900 | 35 |
| Major Healing Potion | 275 | Manual | Crystal Vial, 3 Soothing Spices, Golden Sansam | 1050–1750 | 45 |
All six share a 2-minute cooldown and stack to 5 in the beta tooltips.
Where the herbs come in
The herbs are the expensive half. Pair First Aid with Herbalism and you gather most of the list while questing; spices and vials come from vendors [Unconfirmed: which vendors stock each spice].
| Herb | Used for | Herbalism guide |
|---|---|---|
| Peacebloom | Minor | skill table |
| Briarthorn | Lesser | skill table |
| Bruiseweed | Healing | skill table |
| Liferoot | Greater | skill table |
| Sungrass | Superior | skill table |
| Golden Sansam | Major | skill table |
Getting the manuals
The top three recipes are manuals. Wowhead lists Manual: Greater Healing Potion as a rare drop from Syndicate Mercenaries; other drop sources are still being logged. Manuals are tradable, so the auction house is the other route.
Potions at camp
First Aid camp objects Toxin Study (skill 140) and Plague Doctor's Laboratory (300) hold healing potions for the camp. Details on our camping page.
