WoW Forever Alchemy Guide 1-300: Route, New Flasks & Camp Objects

What changed from Classic
181 recipes in the beta client: 109 Classic, 72 new (29 at Artisan). Two ranges changed: Wildvine Potion greys at 250 (was 280), Minor Discolored Healing Potion at 95 (was 120). Alchemist's Stone can be learned at 275 instead of 300. Elixir of Minor Defense, Minor Discolored Healing Potion and Minor Mana Potion use different materials. Healing Potions have moved from Alchemy to First Aid.
New materials: endgame herbs Death Lotus, Demonsage and Marefoil, and the Scarce Frilled Lichen. Four new 300-skill raid flasks use Death Lotus: Flask of Natural Accuracy, Flask of Natural Aggression, Flask of Natural Precision and Flask of Natural Swiftness.

Each rank needs both the skill and the character level shown, as in Classic. Trainer names and costs aren't re-checked for Forever yet, so ask the trainer in your capital. You get one Legacy point the first time you reach 150, 225 and 300.
Alchemy 1–300 route
Craft counts include misses. One vendor trip: Darnassus (Alliance) or Undercity (Horde). About 889 materials, 98% herbs.

Merchant's Favor recipes
Nina Surefire at Three Corners (Alliance, about 11.0, 72.3) sells 29 recipes from 45 to 240 Favor. A Alchemy Certification (1,000 Favor, title “the Alchemist”) unlocks at 300.
Legacy perks that help

Tips
- Pair with Herbalism: almost every route material is a herb.
- Keep Death Lotus, Demonsage and Marefoil; their sources are still unknown, so supply will be tight.
- Vendor reagents on this route: Crystal Vial, Empty Vial, Leaded Vial. Buy them from a trade-supplies vendor rather than the auction house.
- Catseye Draught takes 1 Goldthorn, 1 Fadeleaf and 1 Leaded Vial, and Draught of Detect Demon takes 2 Gromsblood and 1 Crystal Vial. Stock up on Crystal Vials before 250.
- Elixir of Minor Defense now takes 1 Silverleaf, 1 Peacebloom and 1 Empty Vial, so Classic shopping lists will be short on Peacebloom.

Do Classic Alchemy guides still work?
Mostly. Only two recipes changed their skill ranges, but three use different materials, so check shopping lists.
What is new for Alchemy?
72 new recipes, including four Natural flasks at 300 skill.
Do I need a Laboratory to level?
No. None of the route steps need a camp object.
