Cenarion Hold quests: the Cenarion Circle starter chains (Classic Era baseline)
Cenarion Hold in Silithus is a neutral hub, so both factions get the same quests. Three short chains start there, and each one earns Cenarion Circle reputation: Windcaller Proudhorn's Dredge culls, the Ficklespragg cousins' poison hunt, and Geologist Larksbane's Twilight Mystery. Every quest here needs level 54. Forever changes: [Unconfirmed] (Blizzard's beta notes don't mention Silithus).
The three chains at a glance (Wowhead Classic, checked 29 Oct 2026)
| Chain | Starts with | Quests | Levels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Proudhorn's supply lines | Windcaller Proudhorn (51.0, 38.2) | 3 | 55–57 |
| Noggle's poison | Beetix Ficklespragg (51.6, 38.6) | 3 | 55–58 |
| The Twilight Mystery | Geologist Larksbane (49.6, 37.2) | 4 | 58–60 |
Coordinates are Silithus map coordinates from each NPC's Wowhead Classic page.
Chain 1: Taking Back Silithus to Stepping Up Security
The breadcrumb starts in a capital city and sends you to Proudhorn. The Alliance and Horde versions are separate quests with the same objective.

| # | Quest | Level | Giver | What to do | Rep* |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1a | Taking Back Silithus (Alliance) | 55 | Cenarion Emissary Jademoon, Ironforge 57.2, 47.2 | Talk to Windcaller Proudhorn at Cenarion Hold | 10 |
| 1b | Taking Back Silithus (Horde) | 55 | Cenarion Emissary Blackhoof, Orgrimmar 47.4, 65.2 | Talk to Windcaller Proudhorn at Cenarion Hold | 10 |
| 2 | Securing the Supply Lines | 55 | Windcaller Proudhorn | Kill 15 Dredge Strikers | 75 |
| 3 | Stepping Up Security | 57 | Windcaller Proudhorn | Kill 20 Dredge Crushers | 100 |
Chain 2: Beetix, Noggle and the satchel
Wowhead doesn't list these three as a formal series, but the quest text runs in this order. Beetix's cousin Noggle came back poisoned, and every new sample you bring lets her try a stronger antidote.
| # | Quest | Level | Giver | What to do | Rewards (choose one) | Rep* |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Deadly Desert Venom | 55 | Beetix Ficklespragg | 8 Stonelash Scorpid Stingers (from Stonelash Scorpids) and 8 Sand Skitterer Fangs (from Sand Skitterers) | None listed | 75 |
| 2 | Noggle's Last Hope | 57 | Beetix Ficklespragg | 3 Stonelash Pincer Stingers, 3 Stonelash Flayer Stingers and 3 Rock Stalker Fangs, from the stronger creatures in the far south | Major Healing Potion or Major Mana Potion | 100 |
| 3 | Noggle's Lost Satchel | 58 | Noggle Ficklespragg (51.6, 38.4) | Recover Noggle's Satchel from the mountains in the south of Silithus | Elixir of the Mongoose or Elixir of the Sages | 100 |

According to Noggle, he dropped the satchel while running from Deathclasp, the giant scorpid, in the southern mountains behind Bronzebeard's camp. We haven't found a verified coordinate for the satchel, so it isn't pinned. [Unconfirmed]
Chain 3: The Twilight Mystery
This is the longest of the three. It takes you from a geologist's tablet fragments to a Twilight's Hammer deserter, then up to the Hold's commander.
| # | Quest | Level | Giver | What to do | Rep* |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The Twilight Mystery | 58 | Geologist Larksbane | Collect 8 Twilight Tablet Fragments from the ruined Twilight's Hammer camp north-west of the Hold (now overrun with elementals, per the quest text) | 100 |
| 2 | The Deserter | 59 | Geologist Larksbane | Take the Restored Twilight Tablet to Hermit Ortell (67.0, 69.6). Can't be shared | 50 |
| 3 | The Twilight Lexicon | 60 | Hermit Ortell | Bring Ortell the three chapters of the Twilight Lexicon (see the table below) | 100 |
| 4 | A Terrible Purpose | 60 | Hermit Ortell | Take the Decoded Tablet Transcription to Commander Mar'alith (49.2, 34.2). Can't be shared | 100 |

Who drops each Lexicon chapter
| Chapter | Dropped by |
|---|---|
| Twilight Lexicon - Chapter 1 | Twilight Keeper Mayna |
| Twilight Lexicon - Chapter 2 | Twilight Keeper Exeter |
| Twilight Lexicon - Chapter 3 | Twilight Keeper Havunth |
All three keepers are level 60 Twilight's Hammer NPCs in Silithus. Wowhead logs each of them in several places, so check their NPC pages before you set off. We haven't pinned them.
*Rep: the base Cenarion Circle reputation value Wowhead Classic lists for each quest. Racial bonuses can raise it.

Route tips
- Grab all three chains together when you reach the Hold. The givers stand within a couple of map units of each other.
- Do Securing the Supply Lines and Deadly Desert Venom first. Both are level 55 kill-and-collect quests.
- Noggle's Last Hope and the satchel both send you to the south of the zone, so do them in one trip. Check the Dredge Crusher NPC page to see if Stepping Up Security fits the same run.
- Collect the tablet fragments north-west of the Hold, then take the tablet to Hermit Ortell in the south-east and hunt the three Twilight Keepers.
