Cuergo's Gold — treasure guide (Classic Era baseline)

Cuergo's Gold is a level 45 Tanaris treasure hunt (needs level 40, both factions). It starts from an item you build yourself. Forever changes: [Unconfirmed].

Steps

1. Kill Southsea pirates on the Tanaris coast (Southsea Pirate, Freebooter, Dock Worker, Swashbuckler; level 44–45, around 70–73, 42–48). They drop Pirate's Footlocker.
2. Open footlockers until you have the Upper, Middle and Lower Map Fragment. Each shows up in roughly 22% of footlockers (Wowhead loot data).
3. Combine them into Cuergo's Treasure Map. Right-click it to start the quest.
4. Go to the chest, Pirate's Treasure!, at 50.7, 90.8 on the south coast.
5. Treasure Hunting Pirates (level 44–45) are found there. They drop Cuergo's Key (about 15% per Wowhead).
6. Open the chest to finish.

Reward

Cuergo's Hidden Treasure, a container. Most common contents per Wowhead: Cuergo's Gold (a drink), pirate junk items, and sometimes a Journeyman's Backpack or Star Ruby.

Drop rates are Classic Era Wowhead samples and may differ in Forever: [Unconfirmed]. Tooltips: Wowhead (Classic Era data).
