WoW Forever Queue Times and Login Queue Fixes
A WoW Forever queue is a waiting line that holds you at login when too many players try to connect at once. Blizzard uses login queues during heavy traffic, so expect them around launch at 10:00am AEDT Thu 5 Nov 2026 (every time zone). We'll log real wait reports below as they come in.

Updated through launch week. All times AEDT, newest first. Only Blizzard or Blizzard CS reports, or clearly labelled player reports.

Disconnected from the queue? What to do
Blizzard says it may place you in a login queue during high login traffic. If you see error BLZBNTBGS00000025, its support article says the login servers are under heavy load: wait a few minutes and try again, as it can take several attempts.

Our checklist if you drop out of the queue (queue dc): 1. Check first. Look at server status and BlizzardCS before changing anything on your PC. 2. Don't spam reconnect. Give it a few minutes between attempts. 3. Restart the Battle.net app, then log in again. 4. Steady your connection. Blizzard's connection troubleshooting suggests closing other apps, resetting your router and using a wired connection if Wi-Fi is weak. 5. Still stuck? Delete the game's Cache folder, which Blizzard says can fix some login issues.
Is there a dungeon queue?
Not as an automatic queue, as far as Blizzard has said. Its beta development notes describe a Group Finder for listing and browsing groups. Blizzard hasn't announced a dungeon finder that builds the group or teleports you. See all features.

Disconnects and layers on launch day
A disconnect isn't the only way to lose your friends. WoW Forever runs several copies of the open world per ruleset (Blizzard's notes call them world instances; players say layers) and can move you between them. Layering explained
| What happened | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 🔌 Back at the login screen | Dropped connection or busy login servers | Follow the checklist above |
| 👻 Friends vanished, you're still in game | Moved to another layer | Re-group; let the friend in the busy spot lead |
| ⏱️ "Refresh world" prompt | Layer change coming | Leave combat first; since the 15 Oct beta build you can't accept it in combat |
| 🚢 Split up after a boat or zeppelin | Layering after transport loading screens | Stay grouped; Blizzard has named this as a fix target |
Blizzard's 1 Oct notes say party leaders should no longer be moved when a group forms. ⏳ [Unconfirmed] Whether a layer change can ever send you back to the login queue.
