WoW Forever Fire Mage Rotation
Tooltips: Wowhead Forever DB, exact matches only (build 70532, 28 Oct).
Wowhead wrote this while the beta was capped at 30, so the level 60 picture is their projection [Unconfirmed]. Tested level 60 data: Not yet published, updated at launch.
Fire has two builds: Deep Fire (Fire with Arcane) and Frostfire (Fire with Frost, Frostfire Bolt instead of Fireball).
Deep Fire priority
| Step | Do this |

| 1 | Pre-cast Pyroblast. |
| 2 | Keep Scorch at 5 stacks. |
| 3 | Pyroblast at 3 Heating Up stacks. |
| 4 | Fire Blast. |
| 5 | Arcane Missiles when Missile Barrage procs. |
| 6 | Fireball. |
The best version also keeps 1 Arcane Blast stack up and casts Scorch when Fire Blast is under 1.5 s from ready.
Frostfire priority
| Step | Do this |

| 1 | Pre-cast Pyroblast and keep Scorch at 5 stacks. |
| 2 | Pyroblast at 3 Heating Up stacks. |
| 3 | Fingers of Frost, first proc: Pyroblast if 3 stacks, else Frostfire Bolt. |
| 4 | Second proc: the same, with Fire Blast (or Ice Lance) queued in. |
| 5 | Fire Blast, then Frostfire Bolt. |
AoE
| Step | Do this |

| 1 | Pre-cast Flamestrike. |
| 2 | Blast Wave if talented. |
| 3 | Arcane Explosion. |
Cooldowns
- Combustion on cooldown with Scorch stacked and Heating Up pre-built, ideally with other cooldowns.
- Evocation near empty; cancel early if the fight is nearly over.
