WoW Forever Fire Mage Leveling
Tooltips: Wowhead Forever DB, exact matches only (build 70532, 28 Oct).
Fire levels well once Heating Up and some crit talents arrive. Fire Blast now gives guaranteed Heating Up stacks, which makes it far steadier than in Classic.

Talent order
- Accelerant first, to steady your slow casts.
- Missile Barrage by 16, when Arcane Missiles rank 2 arrives: proc it with your main spell for a no-cost Missiles.
- Improved Fire Blast and Flame Throwing ready for Heating Up and Pyroblast, for long-range pulls.
- Then crit and passive damage talents as they open.
- Hit talents only to 4%, enough to land spells on same-level mobs.
Leveling rotation

| 1 | Pre-cast Pyroblast on the pull. |
| 2 | Pyroblast at 3 Heating Up stacks. |
| 3 | Fire Blast on cooldown, or when you must move. |
| 4 | Arcane Missiles when Missile Barrage procs. |
| 5 | Fireball. |
On mobs living past 20–30 s, such as bosses, keep Scorch up once you have Improved Scorch and Fire Power.
AoE
| Step | Do this |

| 1 | Pre-cast Flamestrike if threat allows. |
| 2 | Cone of Cold to slow the pack. |
| 3 | Spam Arcane Explosion. |
