The Barrens is a huge savanna, and every Horde levelling path runs through it.

When to level here
- All four Horde routes arrive here by about 15–17 and stay until about 24.
- The beta route comes back for the southern Barrens at about 25–26.
- Wowhead's Classic database lists the zone at 10–33.
What's new in Forever
- We haven't seen any zone-wide quest changes.
- Pristine Leather is reported from beasts here.
