Darkshore is a long strip of misty coast on northern Kalimdor.

When to level here
- On the beta route Night Elves quest here from about 13 to 20, which is the longest any race stays in one 10–20 zone.
- Next they go to Ashenvale, then Stonetalon, then cross the sea to the Wetlands.
