Why
Hunter, Warlock
Pet tanks, little downtime. Hunter pet nerfs mostly hit PvP tools; Orc Command +5% pet damage.
Mage, Druid, Rogue
Mage AoE-pulls (Frost Blast, Cone of Cold) but drinks. Druid: near-zero downtime (Shifting Power, form heals). Rogue: fast Combat kills, no self-heal.
Paladin, Warrior, Priest
Paladin improves as Holy Strike ranks up (buffed 24 Sep). Warrior: far more rage, still eats. Priest slowest early; Shadow's shorter CDs help.
Dungeons
Dungeon XP ~+20% (8 Oct), group penalty now per player: grouping classes (tanks, healers) level faster than this list suggests. Dungeon quests give 50% less bonus XP.
