Tooltips: Wowhead Forever DB, exact matches only (build 70532, 28 Oct).

Rage works differently

Your weapons don't change how much Rage you generate anymore, but auto attacks are still a big share of your damage, so keep upgrading weapons. Critical strikes with basic attacks give 100% more Rage (1 Oct), and the 8 Oct notes fixed several bugs so warriors now gain more Rage from taking damage.

Spend Rage carefully

Heroic Strike and Cleave look big but give poor value for their Rage. Wowhead's tester recommends saving Rage for Sunder Armor and Overpower, not dumping it into Execute as a pack dies. Don't be afraid to take hits in dungeons; you're sturdy, and damage taken refills your Rage.

Level 30

At 30 you get Berserker Stance (more crit, more damage taken) through the class quest from Klannoc Macleod, which ends with a fight against Big Will. Berserker Rage is now learned at 30 (was 32). The next step sends you to Bath'rah the Windwatcher in Alterac Mountains for the Whirlwind Weapon chain: 8 Liferoot, 30 Bloodscalp Tusks and an Essence of the Exile, then the elite Cyclonian. Whirlwind itself isn't in your kit at 30 in the beta.

Fury talents at 30

The 1 Oct rework added Lingering Rage (row 2) and Furious Precision (row 3, off-hand hit). Wowhead's level 30 Fury build takes Furious Precision and Dual Wield Specialization and ends at Death Wish. With Talented points, take Enrage (it now triggers from any damaging hit you take) and one point in Flurry. Death Wish is now the prerequisite for Flurry. Exact point maps aren't reproduced. Rotation at 30

Overpower when it lights up, Sunder Armor while the target is above 70% health, Execute when available, and Heroic Strike or Cleave only with spare Rage.

Camping

Camp Chair from Skinning adds crit, which also means more Rage.

Level 30 to 60

Beta caps at 30; no tested route or talent order beyond. Level 30–60 route: Not yet published, updated at launch.
