Our pick for levelling: Tailoring and Enchanting (a fan-site view based on the beta crafted gear below). Level 60 crafting picks: Not yet published, updated at launch.

Crafted gear

Shadow tailoring pieces boost Shadow damage, crafter only. Gathering in starter zones pays for spells; Wowhead's tester bought every rank from Skinning sales.

Camping buffs that fit

Each profession places a camp feature (skill 20 for tier 1). Anyone sitting nearby gets the buff, and all features share a 1-hour cooldown.

Profession Camp buff
Herbalism Incense Candle: Intellect (not with Arcane Intellect)
Alchemy Mana Well: mana regen (not with Blessing of Wisdom)
Tailoring Faction Banner: Spirit (not with Divine Spirit)
Enchanting Enchanted Lute: armour, all stats, resistances (not with Mark of the Wild)
Leatherworking Camp Tent: rested XP up to 5% of a level
