Elwynn Forest levelling guide (levels 1–10) for WoW Forever
Human characters open their story in Northshire Valley, a sheltered abbey glen tucked behind Stormwind's walls.

When to level here
- On the beta-tested Human route you stay in Elwynn until about 14, then head west to Westfall.
- That is a few levels longer than the old Classic habit of leaving at 10, because the new Forever quests in Northshire and Goldshire add enough to fill the gap.
What's new in Forever
- Forever adds quests here, including Book Return.
- Skinning comes early: you can train it from the skinning quest-giver while her quest is still in your log.
- On the downside, the starter mines are darker now that their candles have been removed, and there are fewer low-grade copper veins in starter areas.
