WoW Forever honor and ranks
Forever simplifies the original Honor System. Progression has two parts (Blizzard):
- Honor (currency): earned by defeating players, completing battlegrounds and PvP quests. Holiday-week battlegrounds give more.
- Rank Points: earned from battlegrounds and PvP quests (holiday-week boost). They move you through the original ranks to High Warlord (Horde) or Grand Marshal (Alliance). Ranks have a weekly cap (size not announced).
- Gear: Honor buys a blue set and an epic set. Each epic piece needs the blue piece plus an Emboldened Seal, and seals have rank requirements. New sets fill spec gaps (for example, Shaman healer, melee and caster sets).
- Seasons: weekly journey tasks grant Honor and Rank Points. Three tasks per season grant a Legacy Point and stay available in later seasons.
- Tracking: Character Pane (C), Player vs. Player tab.
