WoW Forever riding and mounts

The big change: Forever uses the Burning Crusade-style approach. The up-front mount cost moves into riding training, and you get a mount when you learn riding (Blizzard: Deep Dive panel recap). You no longer buy the mount separately after training.

  1. Bank gold from about level 30. Blizzard has not published the new training price, which now includes the mount.
  2. Sell gathered materials. See the professions pages.
  3. Don't buy a mount early from a vendor; training gives you one.

Reins of the Spectral Bear is one of four launch Legacy rewards, unlocked by total Legacy points across your account (Blizzard: Get to Know the Legacy System). See Legacy points.
