Talent Calculator
Plan your level-60 build. Tap to add a point; switch to Remove mode or right-click to take one back.

How to use the talent calculator
- Pick a class from the nine class tabs. Each class has three talent trees, shown side by side on desktop and stacked on mobile.
- Tap a talent to add a point. To take one back, right-click it on desktop or switch to Remove mode on a phone.
- Watch the tier gates. Row 1 is open from the start. Each lower row unlocks once you've spent 5 more points in that tree, so row r needs (r−1)×5 points. Talents with arrows need their prerequisite talent maxed first.
- Check the markers. A blue dot means a talent is changed or new in Forever, and a red dot means it is unconfirmed. The total under the trees shows how many of the 51 points you have spent.
- Share it. The URL updates as you click, so copying the address bar gives you a link that reopens the exact build. Bookmark it or paste it into your guild Discord.
Where the data comes from
The talent trees are read from the WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70532, checked 28 Oct 2026, via ForeverDiff's client data). We start from the Classic Era talent layout and apply the changes found in the Forever client. Talents that Forever added or changed are flagged in the tooltip and get no Wowhead link, because Wowhead's Classic page would describe the old version.
Every talent is currently marked unconfirmed. Beta data can change before launch, and we'll re-check each tree against the live game after realms open on Thu 5 Nov 2026, 10:00am AEDT.
How many talent points do you get?
51 points at level 60, one per level from 10 to 60. [Unconfirmed]
This matches Classic Era, where talents start at level 10. Blizzard's class deep dives also say talents start at 10. The beta-client text for the Legacy perk Talented says points can arrive as early as level 5 "but you still may not have more than 51 total talent points". Other calculators show 56 points because they count from level 5 without the 51 cap, so we don't use that figure. The level cap is 60.
Tips for planning a levelling build
- Most players level in one tree and put the first points into talents that add damage or move speed. Our class guides cover talent builds for each class.
- Plan your level-60 build now and keep the link. Respeccing costs gold at your class trainer, and in Classic Era the cost goes up each time you do it. The gold planner helps you budget gold for riding and mounts.
- Match your talents to your gear. See BiS lists and the class tier lists.
- Forever changed a number of classes. Read class changes in WoW Forever before copying an old Classic build.
FAQ
Is the talent calculator free?
Yes. Every Forever Guides tool is free, with no account or sign-up.
How many talent points are there in WoW Forever?
51 at level 60, one per level from 10 to 60. [Unconfirmed] This is the Classic Era rule, and the beta client caps the total at 51.
What is the level cap?
60, the same as Classic Era.
Is this the final WoW Forever talent data?
No. The trees come from the beta client (build 1.60.1.70532). Every talent is marked unconfirmed until we can check it in the live game after launch on 5 Nov 2026.
How do I share a build?
Copy the page URL. It stores every point you've spent, so anyone who opens the link sees the same build.
Why do some talents have no Wowhead tooltip?
Talents that Forever added or changed have no Wowhead link, because the Classic Wowhead page would show the old version.
Can I remove points on a phone?
Yes. Switch to Remove mode, then tap a talent to take a point back.
